Large-scale farm cultivation containers
1. Product Overview
The HENVIC Large-Farm Vegetable Cultivation Container is a turnkey, containerized hydroponic growing room designed for professional and industrial-scale leafy vegetable production. Built on a standard 40-ft high-cube platform, each module provides a fully insulated, climate- and nutrient-controlled growing environment that is factory pre-commissioned and delivered plug-and-play to any site.
Using multi-layer NFT (nutrient film technique) hydroponics, the module grows leafy greens vertically — multiplying the effective planting area to up to approximately 130 m² inside a single container. Temperature, humidity, CO₂, LED lighting and nutrient solution (EC/pH) are automatically regulated through the integrated smart control system, enabling consistent, year-round harvests independent of outdoor climate. The standard ISO footprint allows large farms to scale capacity simply by adding modules.

5. Smart Climate & Nutrient Control System
Each module integrates two control domains — aerial environment and hydroponic nutrition — managed by one unified smart system:
• PLC controller with a 10.1-inch HMI touchscreen for local operation and multi-stage recipe programming
• Air-side sensors: temperature, humidity, CO₂ and light intensity inside the growing chamber
• Nutrient-side monitoring: EC and pH meters on the recirculating solution loop with automatic dosing correction
• Automatic control loops driving the inverter heat pump, fresh-air dampers, EC fans, LED photoperiod and fertigation pumps
• Cloud IoT platform — monitor in real time and adjust set-points remotely from a smartphone APP or web dashboard
• History and analytics — environmental and nutrient records stored for more than 12 months to support yield optimization
• Multi-level alarms (APP / SMS / email) with sensor fault detection, fail-safe recovery and optional backup-power interface
6. Suitable Crops & Growth Programs
The module is optimized for fast-growing leafy greens and culinary herbs. The table below lists typical cultivation parameters; precise climate, light and nutrition recipes are configured during project engineering.
Crop | Air Temperature | Relative Humidity | Photoperiod |
Leaf lettuce (Lactuca sativa) | 15–22 °C | 60–80 % | 14–18 h / day |
Baby spinach | 15–20 °C | 60–75 % | 12–16 h / day |
Kale | 15–22 °C | 60–80 % | 14–18 h / day |
Pak choi / bok choy | 15–25 °C | 65–85 % | 14–16 h / day |
Basil | 20–26 °C | 60–75 % | 16–18 h / day |
Mint | 18–24 °C | 60–80 % | 14–18 h / day |
Additional crops — including strawberries, cherry tomatoes and other herbs — can be supported with crop-specific programs on a project basis.
7. Farm-Scale Deployment & Applications
• Rapid expansion of existing vegetable farms without new greenhouse or building construction
• Year-round commercial production of lettuce, leafy greens and herbs for fresh and retail markets
• Crop diversification for greenhouse operators, cooperatives and agricultural parks
• Food-safe production close to consumption areas for shorter, fresher supply chains
• Production in remote or harsh climates (desert, plateau, cold regions) thanks to high-performance insulation
• R&D and pilot facilities for variety trials and hydroponic method development
For large projects, HENVIC supports multi-module farm planning — including module layout, central service rooms, power and water supply design, and staged commissioning — so production capacity can grow with the market.
